Seeing those pictures, and the 1/4 onion pencil stuck on top of Trump just angers me even more that such an ugly top to a building can be constructed in Toronto. The tower itself is ok by me, certainly decent density filler, but sadly, that monstrosity on the top will be visible for some time til something is constructed to block it out.

With regards to the FCP recladding, that is a fantastic job. Really improves the building and is almost like having a new skyscraper in the city. I was a little dubious and about the dark corners, but now that I've seen them 'in the flesh' I think they work perfectly to compliment the building.

New to the forum. This is a shot I took a few days ago from the penthouse lounge of my condo in the parklawn and lakeshore area. The addition of trump and shangri-la add a lot to the skyline from this vantage point. Can also see a large amount of other developments.

Agreed that is a great shot by schevchenko. But would it be possible to shrink the size down so that it fits comfortably onto the page of the thread? Would be easier to see the whole shot without having to scroll, thanks.

Yes, Shangri-La does add a lot to the skyline, and Trump is showing to be an adequate density filler, although to me, this shot really shows the farce of Trump claiming to be the 2nd tallest in Toronto. The actual building roof is so much lower than ScotiaPlaza.

Sorry I had no idea it would do that. On imgur it looked fine and I needed to click the shot to enlarge it.
