"nothing big" in terms of an announcement today.

Still sounds like there will be something, but enough with the foreplay.

I am excited to see it. The most state of the art building in the world is quite the bar to be setting.

I was referring to the announcement. Big to me would have included an announcement about a "tower" which is or is not being developed by Foster.

If you are saying that the new state of the art building is the tower well then that would be "Big."

They are probably going to build it at the Navy Yard

I would assume by "state of the art building" they mean a new tower.

Though do believe we will see something, maybe not as tall as we want but in the end will still mean more jobs - the biggest plus really bigger than any skyscraper in tangible terms

This may be the only opportunity for a Supertall in Philly for a long time.

No announcement of a new building for Comcast, just a technology center but just a brief mention no pics or location or anything like that.

Stupid crap... I gotta stop getting excited about this stuff. Big let down. Even if a supertall is coming, big let down. City should have gotten one when the first tower was built. I mean seriously 975'? Would have been too much to get the extra 25'? Still kinda frustrated and scratching my head over that one.

At this point Trenton will have a 1000 footer before us. But joking aside, we just have to be patience.

The technology center is the highrise office campus they are talking about. It will be a few tall buildings.

That would be cool too but does a couple buildings = no super tall one?

So here is my educated guess. I'm going to assume that they had to be vague with what they were announcing because they are still working on it, and I'd have to think that with all these new business's looking for space, they might want to have them fill in some of the tower. Or the better news is that the demand is so high that there probably going to build a 1000-1300 foot tower, with another two around 600-800 ft. But that's a guess. If that's the case then I'll wait.
