Shouldn't be too long before we see rebar in that spot, then we'll be able to move this to the Under Construction sub-forum.

Big concrete pour today.

This thread can be moved to the construction forum. Name has changed (Circa) and the height of the towers can be adjusted to 36 stories.

That's great news. I always feel like we need to get buildings up as quick as possible because if the economic winds shift, who knows how long it can take to get back momentum.

Circa Under Construction Across From Staples Center

Quote:
Hankey Investment Company, Jamison Services, Falcon California Investments, and Highlands Capital are the development partners in the project. The two 35-storey towers will house 648 luxury rental units ranging in size from 700 to 3,800 square feet. The building's street presence is solidified by a hefty podium encompassing 48,000 square feet of retail. Along Flower Street, a 400-square-foot courtyard will be provided, while a 1,000-square-foot plaza marks the 12th Street frontage.

Two-Tower Circa Development Rises in Los Angeles
Quote:
A development team comprised of Jamison Services, Hankey Investment Company, Falcon California Investments, and Highlands Capital is responsible for a two-tower development across from the Staples Center and the LA Live entertainment complex, currently rising in the South Park neighbourhood. With both towers rising to 35 storeys, the $500 million Circa development at 12th Street between Figueroa and Flower will hold 648 apartments and approximately 48,000 square feet of ground-level commercial space, with name-brand retailers and restaurants catering to residents, locals, and visitors.
