I was just considering LA County. Orange County beach cities are very NIMBY. Huntington Beach especially with their agenda 21 conspiracy theorist planning comissioner who just had to resign over comments he made about Islam. In Newport Beach there's a fight over a 26 story tower right now.

Then Venice, Marina Del Rey and San Pedro. Two of these already have some small highrises but all could use some more.

Way overdue skyline encroachment...but more flat roofs. Ew ick. I do like the compensatory staggered motif, tho. This project shows how it can be properly done.

Wasn't there a recent city ordinance (whatever the word is) putting the kibosh on that?
