Wow, that press release really plays up the luxury angle. I didn't realize this was supposed to be so high end.

This one is flying a bit under the radar, since it's tucked in a back alley. As of today, excavation is still ongoing with large dump trucks stopping by regularly:

Is this really going to be 550'?? It doesn't look over 300' in the rendering.

The approved plan is 35 stories and 380 feet (Sources: 1, 2)

The thread title just never got updated from the original proposal in 2008.

You should also fix the 706 Mission/Mexican Museum Tower to 510ft / 43 stories, down the proposals page a bit

the biznow article had great shots; it's hard to see much walking by still. they were delivering rebar yesterday
