Boise already has a pretty great downtown and adding in the natural setting makes your city unique and scenic. I would love to live near a river like this and be able to enjoy its beauty.
As someone who spends a lot of my time in the outdoors within the city limits either recreating or taking photos, I love that my city has an impressive natural and urban package and an incredible setting. I cannot imagine living in a city that does not have a Boise River.

I found this info at a Boise Weekly article:

http://www.boiseweekly.com/boise/jum...nt?oid=3613119

Quote:
Along with the various studios, JUMP's campus will also include a three-acre urban garden complete with an outdoor amphitheater. Coming off the building's "helix core" will be a five-story slide and a shorter eight-person slide. The building will feature a deck with a pergola, an outdoor fire pit and a barbecue.

Thanks for the info! I also like this:

The development will also act as a connection between the greenbelt and downtown. extending the Pioneer Pathway from River Street to a new pedestrian light signal on Ninth Street.

Autumn 2016 is upon us.

I am reviving this thread for the season to post comprehensive construction photo updates, as well as of course the beauty of Fall in Boise. I will still post construction photos in the Boise Development Thread - Part II, but you will all want to check this thread for extended updates.

The Matador on 8th Street.

This was a popular SSP/Boise meetup place in the past.

These trees are a tease.

More Saturday Market and downtown construction pics are on the way tomorrow, including photos from down in this place.

City Center Plaza meet The Grove Plaza.
I am sure you will have beautiful children together.

Way finders on the walk way for a convention in town.

The Afton has made an impact and is visible from The Grove.

I like how this area of The Grove is now being used as outdoor seating for Snake River Tea and Costa Vida.
Those spuds with the sunglasses think they are way too cool.
