Le 1000 de la Gauchetière is such a lovely tower, I fell in love with her even before my train into Montreal had pulled into the station. I would love to have her here in Halifax. Same with Burj al Arab, but I don't think she could handle a nova scotian winter. Her sail-inspired design would look awesome in our port city, though. Maybe Sheik Mohammed of Dubai will let us build her a twin if we can ever get the heritage humping nimby's in this town to shut up.
And I would also take LA city hall, that skyscraper is gorgeous. A dignified elder keeping an eye on the precocious towers of downtown. And he would fit right in with the heritage buildings here, even being quite tall. So the nimby's could shut up already.
