Quick question[s].

What about the Southtown/SoFlo area development across from La Tuna. Do you guys still own it or did your sale the property? If you still own it are the plans still on for the mixed-use development? That's another area with new residential construction popping up. Very nice bookends (Southtown/SoFlo and Pearl/Lower Broadway).

Second question.

Are there any concrete plans to redo the Broadway streetscape? Or will that have to wait for funding or for when the street car line is built?

Thanks.
Yes, we still own the site across from LaTuna. No firm plans right now; would love to try and get something started next year.

Re: Broadway, there's a preliminary plan for comprehensive improvements that would be included in the upcoming CoSA bond election. Totally dependent on that funding, though. My guess is that you see work start in the next 24-36 months.

New rendering of 1800 Broadway, currently under construction.

Four mixed-use developments currently under construction in the Lower Broadway/River North/Pearl Districts. All told, these four developments will add nearly 1,000 residential units to the urban core.

Thanks for the update maxus. That area is going through some good improvements.

I've always wondered about that area between Pearl, the Mosaic and 1800 Broadway.

Anyone know there are any plans for any of that land? I've always thought it had good potential.

The SE corners of those "blocks" would be the only real useable space. Timbos, and an antique shop are set up along Pearl Parkway, and SARMA and their parking lot is across from Sam's..... those more than likely aren't going anywhere anytime soon. I could be wrong, but it just seems to me that the next logical move is across the river from the Pearl.

Pearl already owns all that land, won't talk about their plans.

I'd like to see something done someday. Be some awesome density. I do, however, hope that when Pearl expands across the river, development spills over into River North on that side as well.

The land against the river is not the only land available, I see a few infill projects filling in all the way to St. Mary's.

On a related note, this is the last year Nightmare on Grayson will be in operation.... closing down to make room for loft and retail space.
