Vancouver just started demolition of the 42-storey Landmark Hotel... only to be replaced with 2 shorter towers

The tallest previous demolition was this one, but implosions seem to be a thing of the past.

Gotta post the updates.

Im to lazy to get around to other projects, but at least you can see the ones on my normal weekend or weekday walks.

Wow....4 construction projects there, with the tallest building in Canada to be in that shot in a few years. I'll be down and around with an update tomorrow. Expect a better update later.

Yup. Compares well to other like projects in Toronto. One thing, the solid grey spandrel panels on the podium look terrible. I'll assume they will covered up when everything is completed (like the tower at Church & King)
