Salt Lake City 2012

I took most of these photos this summer, so it's a bit out of season. But it's good to look at when you've slogged through slush to get home and you're trying to remember what warm feels like. Fair warning, this is a long one...

Recognize this place? Remember who lived here? I'll give you a hint: They sold a dead bird to a blind kid in a wheelchair...

These next few are from Salt Lake's Liberty Park, which is an awesome place year round.

Our killer library:

The library has a rooftop garden. Here's some views:

Back on the ground, in the plaza:

This guy was cool. He just heard music and had no choice.

From a festival at downtown's Gallivan Plaza:

The amazing Capitol Theatre:

Train ride:

Thanks for viewing!

Great pics Scott. I hope you'll do a follow-up, like a volume II. There have been so many impressive additions to Salt Lake's CBD these past few years. In addition to City Creek, I'm anxious to see the Gallivan Center Plaza. It looks like it turned out fantastic.

I hope we don't plunge into an economic abyss in the next few months. That's the only thing I can see that would stop Salt Lake's incredible momentum. I would really like to see that new tallest CC Hotel, Hamilton UPAC Tower, and Mega-Theater coming on line soon.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Delts, I'll definitely do another in the future. I don't know what else to do with all the city pics I take!
