I think that one looks even at nighttime ugly, happy it's just 325 feet tall. That building doesn't look modern, it's just out of place. It could have been worse, but I am not happy about that design. Let's hope it looks better once it is reality.
Do you think it's possible that the parking entrance will be located in the back alley? I would hate for the entrance to the hotel being a giant driveway given the narrow lot dimensions.
Also, great foresight cutting out pieces of the wall to preserve the murals that we thought would be completely covered. I was hoping they would do exactly that.

Which is exactly why I asked. I'm not sure of any recent projects that have utilized the alley for parking entrances except maybe City Century's 24 story in South Park.
