Wow, that building is awesome. Jersey City already has a great skyline and it will be getting much better in the coming years.

That's pretty much the way it appears from Jersey. You'd be surprised at the number of people in Jersey who don't know those towers are actually on the Jersey side of the Hudson. Then again, Jersey City is somewhat detached from the rest of the state, both physically and mentally. The same can be said for a few communites north of it, including Hoboken.

Here are some statistical facts about the NYC region:
  • Jersey City population: 239,097 in city and 21,903,623 in metro
  • New York City population: 8,143,197 in city and 21,903,623 in metro
According to the source, both Jersey City and New York City share the common 21,903,623 in metro - meaning that Jersey City is indeed a part of the New York City region.

I knew that many of us would be in denial. Like I said, it's just the beginning of a slump.

Easy.
The boom of the global real estate market is over. Sales are slowing down, prices are starting to decrease. I guess that Jersey City will be no exception.

Well, seeing as how Jersey City is practically in Manhattan, there's no surprise there...

With these developments, and the ones happening on the Brooklyn side of the river, there will be almost no way to distinguish the individual points on the skyline from the views in central NJ.

Well, except for the WTC when that is finished. That would stand out anywhere!
