We're not on mechanical floors right?
Considering Otie said the roof is 1,334.

Previous 1,244
After 1,271

So Next is 1,271
then 1,334?
There is going to be 2 more jumps. Each jump would be about 20 feet. Then a jump for the parapet. Followed by the beacon, and the installing of the mast.

1,313? Oh cool. Thanks for the info. I agree the last jump was 27 feet. But then again, i can't see them doing two 20plus feet jumps

I don't get why some people are saying that 1WTC doesn't look as tall as the twins. These people say that 1WTC appears "fatter" than the twins. I don't think this is true. Correct me if I'm wrong, but 1WTC at its widest point at the base is the same dimensions as the twins were, or even a bit smaller. Sure, it tapers, unlike the twins, but visually it won't look truly super tall until all of the glass is on, giving it a uniform streamlined look, and of course it still has a few floors left before it tops out. And not even counting the spire, either. So these people should reserve judgment. 1WTC will look plenty tall when completed. Just wait. Anyone who sees the renderings can tell it will be a true monster!

From certain Angles it looks taller than the twins.Others it doesn't.
The only reason why the twins appear taller is because it doesn't taper back.
Unlike the twins, they seem never ending.
But I think it's very tall and it's not eve done yet!

it's too long...

now the average speed of construction is one floor in two weeks.. before, it was faster..

I don't understand why it is so long to finish the few floors missing.. usually, the ending of the tower is the easiest point to build, no ? moreover, the floors have a surface 50 % smaller than the first floors, because of the shape of the tower..

so why is it so long ??

Might have to do with hoisting all the material up to the top?

Otie and others who know more about the project are saying that the parapet will be 1,368 ft, but the real roof height will be around 1,330 ft. I don't really know why, but that's the way the PA wanted it.
