I think this is the best looking glass tower in the city

It also looks like the roof is coming along nice, it compliments the tower quite well.

Millennium just as the fog was finally starting to break:

It seems to rise right out of the trees:

Edit: I just realized I posted the same photo twice the first time. Doh!

Not really an update, just a shot I took of Millennium and its neighbor 50 Fremont:

What are those silver lines on the side of the building? Are they purposely placed in that diagonal style?

Yes. They wrap around the building at an angle, sort of like the striping on a candy cane. The interesting thing about them is that they can seem very bold, like in the last photo above, and at other times completely disappear from view.

From the last photo, it makes the building look unfinished. But it's a different style and I like it.

To give you an idea of how the fins will disappear, here's a shot of that same side of the building, but from straight-on rather than the sharp angle from the previous picture:

It almost looks camouflaged in this look down Fremont from Market:

Here's the midrise in context on Beale:

Nice to see an update from you Dave, I was getting a little worried there for a second, heh. Looks like its almost done save for that small section of the crown.

I was in Boston for meetings most of the month. I'll be in Delhi for 3 weeks in August, too, followed by Boston again in September.

Well here are today's updates, at least.

The hoist on this side is being removed. Hopefully we'll see this side fully clad shortly.

And today's updates, to give the newly released Lightroom 2.0 a spin:

The other hoists are also being prepared for removal:

Ah, so maybe that's why they haven't seemed to start installing glass on the other side. Maybe they plan to do each floor together in both locations.

Shots look great. I'd say Lightroom 2.0 is a success!

Act fast!

Quote:
four units at Millennium (301 Mission) have hit the MLS with prices ranging from $1,445,000 ($1,160/sqft) to $5,090,000 ($1,805/sqft), the word on the street is that sales activity has recently been "heating up."

Also noted, construction inside the midrise City Residences is coming along nicely and the units (think #502) are pretty damn "cool" (albeit not cheap).

As always, details (as in the hard numbers) when we have them.

∙ Listing: 301 Mission Street #502 (1/2) - $2,225,000 [MLS] - floorplan below
∙ Listing: 301 Mission Street #25J (2/2) - $1,445,000 [MLS]
∙ Listing: 301 Mission Street #47B (2/2.5) - $2,623,500 [MLS]
∙ Listing: 301 Mission Street #55C (2/3.5) - $5,090,000 [MLS]

If only there were some kind of retired doctor reading this form who could hook me up with some nice lady cardiologist or neurosurgeon so I could move on in.....

Floor to ceiling views from virtually every square foot of living space. I'd sure love to walk into that every night.
