I took a few photo of the old CFB Edmonton land, that is being transformed into residential housing called the Griesbach Village. I was inspired by the Garrison Woods in Calgary. I hope you all enjoy:
One of the better quality and better planned neighbourhood infills, but quite pricey and still not enough walkable community services. Overall though, a significant step up from what we get just a few blocks north.

The walking trails in Greisbach are really really nice. For the $ though I'd rather buy in highlands or the like. Also, as Cold mentionned, not a lot of ammenities to walk to unless you are closer to the 137ave side.
Good recclamation and infill though. Gives options for people who want a new home closer in than the new subdivisions on the fringes of the city

^ Is there any links to renders for that? All the Griesbach site shows is a picture of people enjoying a cup of joe on a patio. I hope the retail portion is similar to, if not better and more urban, the Garrison Woods version with mainstreet retail and parking in behind. Griesbach could be Edmonton's own Marda Loop!
