[QUOTE=Jerry of San Fran;8038677]Visited the site of 100 Folsom St. today. Looks like the dig has reached the bottom, but lots of work still to be done. I could have gotten closer to the hole but was chased away from one construction site earlier today & did not want to upset the construction guys!

Very special tower to rise here, a new landmark on the SF skyline. Has the foundation mat been poured yet? Thanks for the pics, please keep them coming.

Sky's the Limit - No. See my post #120 for an obstructed view of the foundation.

Not sure if they'll do it without a media reference confirming the concrete pour or at least a photo but I believe you have to ask in the thread for that purpose which I will do.

Difficult to peer into, and a lady blew her whistle at me when I tried to peer over the Folsom edge, but core rebar is already approaching street level:

Now that this is rising it is moving at lightning speed, especially compared to how slow Block 9/500 Folsom has been to get out of the ground.

The second crane is up and we're now visibly above the surface.

The Latest Timing for That Twisty Bay Tower Now Rising on Folsom
May 18, 2018

While originally aiming for an opening in the first quarter of 2020, the expected completion date for the twisty 400-foot-tall “Bay Tower” designed by Jeanne Gang rising at 100/160 Folsom Street, on the northwest corner of Folsom and Spear, has been pushed back to the second quarter of the year . . . .
