TallCoolOne,

A tip I saw online the other day. If you go to the instagrams page and go to the page source, and ctrl-F "og" and find the "og-image" tag, you can find the original picture uploaded without having to reupload them. *Sorry if you are already aware of this I just saw you put them on flickr.

Those pics are truly amazing. Especially the one from directly above. Also nice to see how close to completion this building is.

Sorry to double post, but I have pics. Construction of the FMC Tower appears to be completely completed.

What a gorgeous addition to Philly's already growing skyline.
This'll go down as one of my favorite glass-cladded skyscrapers.

Anyone know the reason for the areas missing glass panes staggered throughout? We have some dead pixels!

You can see them well on Mr_Saturn64's pictures.

Construction is not complete. The missing panes will be put in. They are panes that broke during initial construction or had something else wrong with them. The base also needs to be completing. They are working on completing the tower. It's pretty close.

Is this tower associated with Penn? I swear I saw their logo on the bottom but the other night it had the Drexel Dragon on it... isn't that like, sacrilegious?

Penn administrative occupies between 2 and 4 floors all the way at the bottom, close to the lobby. Price per sq. ft. is probably cheaper there.

Penn also owns the ground--not that it needs to be close to it, or anything.

A longstanding partner in the Cira Centre® South development, the University of Pennsylvania owns the ground upon which FMC Tower will be constructed. Brandywine and Penn have executed a long-term ground lease for the lot, as well as a 20-year lease through which Penn will occupy approximately 100,000 square feet of office space at the tower.

Word! I can't wait to get to Philly to check this out in person. It's open to the public right?

Parts of it are private for the building's office tenants. But largely open. The Cira Green roof is open and bar and restaurant spaces will be open in FMC eventually.

In the one epic drone picture, you may be able to see CTC reflected in the glass. At least, I'm quite sure that's what that is.
