In addition to the basic shape and proportion of the building, the spire is comprised of seven stacked modules, each having triangular windows installed in them. The number of windows corresponding to each upper arched section in ascending order is 8, 5, 5, 5, 3, 3, 1.
The main part of the upper face of the building above the last setback is comprised of 7 ascending horizontal rows of windows, bearing four abreast, with two smaller, square windows at the top of the arched portion of the main face.
Set back on either side of the ascending central sets of four windows toward the top are two ascending rows bearing six windows each. Further below, the main face of the tower contains rows of 12 windows abreast, descending respectively.
All of these details are 100% accurate in the drawing at hand. Over 100 separate details concerning the Chrysler building's geometric attributes would have by necessity been memorized at heart in order for this article to have been drawn, unaided, in a classroom as suggested.
I am thus forced to conclude that the image of the Chrysler building shown here was probably not drawn in a classroom. If it was, we may conclude beyond doubt that the artist either lives in New York City and is very devoted to architecture, was within visual range of a photograph in the room depicting the famed building at the time when the drawing took place, or is of considerable mental genius.
Human memory is sporadic, and it is thus highly unlikely that from random access memory the artist could correctly recall the details shown in the picture. It is entirely possible that the general detail of the drawing could be fabricated by any decent artist, but if drawn from memory, it is almost entirely certain that there would be at least some minor statistical errors relating to specifics of the model.
Forgive me for writing this long, over-drawn, and pointless critique. I don't know why I did it. I just did. LOL. Well, in any case, however it was drawn... it looks good, and more especially, the crooked house is absolutely outstanding.
