Potentially the 2 most important in their history (yes, even bigger than the MLS final) are coming up for TFC against Club America.

I wish them (and New York Red Bulls in the other semi final vs a Mexican team) good luck!

Ballou Tabla trained with Barcelona's first team and Lionel Messi today.

TFC win 3-1 over Club America in the first leg of the CCL semifinals...going to Azteca should be fun.

Did the ref ever have his hands full in the first half.

Sounds like the Toronto police did at half-time as well

Fortunately CONCACAF and the AFC are doing a referee exchange so that Uzbek referee Ravshan Irmatov will be reffing the second leg of TFC/CA at Azteca. Irmatov is one of the World's best referees so the likelihood of TFC getting CONCACAF'd in Mexico City has gone down slightly.

Also, CA's manager is claiming a Toronto Police officer hit one of the CA players during halftime, which is what should be expected from such a poor manager and club.

Evan Bush received a BS yellow card at Azteca during the CCF final a couple years ago which forced the Impact to dress an amateur goalie for the club's most important game in history for the return leg at the big O.

Toronto FC should prepare for anything no matter who the ref is.

Even a laser beam on your eye...

Another one! CONCACAF games can be enjoyable when the referee isn't completely awful.

Home match against Guadalajara either next week or the week after in the final leg.

Well done TFC, I want to see us in the Club World Cup so badly right now.
We can avenge Barcelona and Manchester city like we just avenged Montreal.

They keep on beating expectations. Unbelievable save from Bono on the header.

Watching the Club America Manager bitch to the referee who was laughing because he doesn't speak Spanish was hilarious.

Nothing was more pleasing than seeing Irmatov giving out yellows for unsporting behaviour.

TFC looked really good last night.

As mentioned above the officiating was fantastic.

The fist bump from Peralta was pure class.

I will repeat myself again (the same was true last week) but the 2 most important games in TFC's history are coming up.

I feel confident they will do it. Their MLS results prove they are 100% focused on the CCL tournament.

TFC loses the first leg 2-1 at home. The 2 allowed goals on away turf will hurt.

But once again, if there is one team that can come back, it's Toronto.

Frustrating match to watch. They wasted so many chances to score and should have easily had four or five. Chivas had two chances all match and scored on both. Moor was dreadfully bad, Altidore was throwing up on the pitch, and Giovinco wasn't awarded a penalty late (along with the missed Chivas handball in the first half).

2-0 or 2-1 in Mexico isn't inconceivable but they should be in a better position than they are right now.
