Yes, and imagine a theoretical scenario in which a few bad apples claiming to be fighting for the same things Mandela was fighting for ended up torpedoing the entire movement.
The fact is, your continual painting of the movement as being defined by theoretical bad apples ruining careers is dishonest. The movement almost universally condemns false accusations as belittling the goals of the broader movement, just like Mandela learned to condemn violence.
Your characterisation of the movement as being the same as bombing innocent people is commensurate to spreading propaganda against a cause you aren't comfortable with.
Stop disingenuously painting the intentions of millions as being defined by as yet unrealised theoretical ways in which modern attention can potentially theoretically be abused by some theoretical bad apples which don't even exist.
Mandela fighting for freedom inspired a lot of people, and a few were inspired to violence, which were soundly condemned. Assuming any tectonic shift in social change won't have collateral damage is being just plain dishonest.
