yep, i went by the site yesterday for the first time in a while, and it sure was exciting to see that case crane there, along with all the ground prep going on.

this one is gonna start soon. i just wish i could wave a magic wand to save this building from its retarded top.

It's still going to be a couple of days until they start drilling caissons. I went by the construction site yesterday to take a closer look, and they still hve some potholing to do. There were wooden piles still roped off that needed to be removed. Also, the only crane on site at this time is a service crane. There are no other materials or drilling attachments on site yet.

Also, I got a chance to go to the sales center, and look what I found. Look closely..... Do you see anything strange or different???

It's tower 2, and there will be more information in January.

That looks very massive in the back. I like the top of the second building. These two buildings, I think, should compliment each other when completed. Will these start construction at the same time? Oh, what a feeling!

^Man, people with a West View from OMP are gonna be mighty pissed. they look close enough to hang a clothes line between.

And Steely, don't fret just yet. It's not like developers always build the exact structure as depicted in renderings....for better or worse. Usually worse. uh oh.

There are supposed to be 4 towers total. 2 over 60, and 2 over 50.

I'm just not crazy about the whole development. I can't see the street retail/life being too great when they are done. I hope the developers do not make the same mistakes as Illinois Center.
