Yeah.

I'm just talking my B.S in Geology as 12 years. Then I have my M.S. Fuck a PhD in that.

I wish that I would have taken some time off, at the least between undergrad and law school. I was a full-time K-JD and after finishing I still remember the unease of not being in school for the first time in more than 20 years. I was 24 and working, but still missed school.

I had to talk my brother into continuing on with school last semester (he's a year away from his Masters) because he's been in school non-stop since kindergarten (1991). It wasn't an easy process, but he's on-track to graduate in Spring 2013.

I had to take time off between my bachelors and masters. I worked myself to death during the time between the two, but without it, I probably wouldn't have done as well in my graduate work as I did. Then again, my masters is in a useless social science, and a somewhat intelligent primate could probably do as well as I did, so there's always that to consider, but I probably took my graduate coursework a lot more seriously than I did my undergraduate coursework thanks to having a few years to mature (sort of).

Then again, I wasn't doing anything to control my diabetes during most of my undergraduate, which probably affected my ability to concentrate and apply myself better.

That's exactly how I feel about my three year break between high school and starting university. Probably why my marks through two years have been a fair bit better than high school.

I'm in the 34th year of my break after high school.

I don't plan on attending. I went to Phoenix's equivalent of whatever the high school was called in Beverly Hills 90210 and I don't feel like seeing how successful everyone else is because they rode on their parents' coattails.

Plus, my mom worked at the school my freshman, sophomore and junior years as a sign language interpreter and she was way more popular with my classmates than I ever was.

I usually love when the Quad City airshow is going on. The municipal airport they use is just a couple miles from my workplace. It's hard to work then I hear the Blue Angles or Thunderbirds fly over. Many of the jets will stage at the Quad City airport in Moline then fly over to Davenport to put on the aerial show. Yesterday as I was walking the dogs I saw three jets (I just found out they were Areo Vodochody L-39C, Russian built I believe) fly right over me as they left Moline for the show in Davenport and I got that nice rush you feel as they fly over.
I found out just a few minutes ago that one of them crashed in front of the crowd....The pilot didn't make it.

That's unfortunate. The last time my city had an air show, a plane crashed (but the pilot survived) and that was basically it for air shows here. They're fun to watch.

Last Saturday everyone in my area who wasn't awake by then was woken up just after 10am by a jet that flew overhead not more than 300 feet above the houses. My apartment shook for a minute or so. I thought the trains had derailed in the back and slammed into the building.

Abbotsford, BC has the biggest airshow I can think of in Canada (though maybe some military base in Ontario or Quebec has it beat) and there was a crash there a few years ago. They're really fun, but of course it's always sad to hear about such tragedies.

Edit: Yeah, largest in Canada. 125,000 attendance.

Pretty sure there is a porn with a story line very similar to that.
