Nick, the slanted beam reflection pic belongs in a museum. That is a masterpiece.

1. Beyond gorgeous photos! Thanks for sharing
2. I foresee that first photo looked at 100 years from now like we look at black and white photos of construction workers building the ESB and JHC. That or it becomes passed around on social media. "Caption this photo..."
3. Chicago is very dense, but photo two shows just how much open space there is between our buildings north of the Loop. I can't wait for the Trib 2 and 400LSD to fill in some of those gaps.

The lighting and angle make it totally Inception. Now I know what to watch this week!

Stunning, Nick!

Driving south down Lakeshore drive today at Fullerton, her impact is really becoming apparent. As she comes into view from the Bridge as well. Yuuuuge impact! Even the newly-topped our eastern most setback seems high!

Amazing phtography. It occurred to me the higher floors are going to have killer views of Aqua's undulating form from above.

Edit-

Will the top floor south facing units actually have a view of a Bears game? I wonder if a 99th floor south facing unit would be high enough to have a clear view of the field.

Not quite, at least from the 90th floor. Hard to gauge, but maybe the 99th would have a view of the south endzone?

Incredible photos Nick. Some of those views are some uncommon angles of Chicago’s architecture. Especially the field museum.

Thanks for all the compliments! Glad you enjoy. It was definitely a great shoot, though intense. It's hard enough to keep up with the pace of work, on top of staying aware of all that's going on around you when a camera is pressed to your face.

I hope I can get up there again soon. Hopefully they'll let me climb the tower crane mast this time, ha.

Pretty cool and informative article for anyone who is interested. Looks like they're on a 3 day pour schedule as of now. Also, 115,000 cubic yards of concrete for the entire structure! Trump Tower, at almost twice the total square footage, used something like 180,000 cubic yards.
