Absolutely spectacular, pallo! Thanks for sharing.

I know you fly into Nadi, where exactly is Mana Island from there? Did you make it to Savusavu on Vanua Levu?

I may be going later this year, and am totally psyched. It's about 16 1/2 hours for me, a little further than from MEL!

Mana Island is only 1.5 hours with the ferry from Nadi, but most resorts are on the coral coast which is about 2-3 hours drive from Nadi so getting there took quite a while, we had to be picked up at 6:15 in the morning

The problem with Fiji is it's a million miles from everywhere! Unless you live in Vanuatu that is.

Cheers for the tour.

Nice photos.

Did you also visit Navala or Suva?

Seeing as I'm moving to Sydney in 2 weeks I'm thinking about heading there in October for a short trip. I plan to do a 4 or 5 day roadtrip around the island via the Queens Hwy and Kings Road including a few inland detours.

No I was only in Fiji for 3 nights, but Navala village looks lovely

I stopped off here for a couple days, en route to Australia, some 20 years ago, and, call it bad timing, a cyclone had just blown thru the islands, bridge washed out, debris scattered all along the shoreline, all the leaves of the trees had been blown off! It was so eerie, but interesting just the same!

Just glad I wasn't there for the "show"!

Nice to see the shorelines all cleaned up!

That little island in pic #3 is cool. But I think I'd be a bit worried about a big wave sweeping in. Thanks for the tour.

I *suppose* it's nice if you like that sort of thing, but is there anywhere that has good beer on tap?
