ColDayMan, now that's nice. QCS looks fine...at night.

TheArchitect, I'm going to splash on some Sex Panther before heading out tomorrow.

Way back when, one reason so many of us Philly forumers were excited about that project was the fact that it would fill a glaring visual hole in the skyline as you can see in these pre-Comcast images:

Particularly when viewed from dead east or west, things rose to a climax, dropped, and rose sharply again just to fall sharply again. It was aesthetically jarring, especially if you looked at it every day.

Comcast Center's presence gives the skyline a bit more depth, a defined high point off-of-center (which I like) and doesn't visually clash too much with the other trophy towers. Now if ACC gets built in its current version...I don't know how that's going to work.

Let snow let it snow

Los Angeles skyline looking northeast with snowcapped mountain backdrop. I love palm trees and snow.

One of my midwestern favorites after Chicago

(University of Minnesota)

(U of M)

I especially like the strong line of the bridge in this one.

St. Paul's not bad either.
