I like the design. There's all kinds of similar hotels in the Byward Market in Ottawa and there usually a stucco box. This hotel will do really well in that area, it's all about location location location.

I think it's been a decade since we saw a construction crane in the downtown skyline. What a welcome sight! Looking forward to seeing more cranes pop up downtown.

What do you think The Spec's headline will be? "Unsightly crane, noisy builders mar city core"

They are at grade and do not seem to be stopping. Why would he need permission to continue? It has never stopped him before!
