Ramsey or Crescent Heights would be my picks.

Riverbend or Ogden along the ridge above the Bow River, all the signature buildings at a really nice angle!

I might be biased but Crescent Heights (walking distance) and Renfrew (where I live).

A buddy of mine lives on Signature Park in signal hill. An absolutely fantastic view of the skyline.

My Homer vote is Albert Park. From the ridge along Barlow, just above Max Bell Centre, you get a beautiful view of the East side of DT roughly aligning with 10th Ave, so great view of the Bow, EAP, Bankers Hall(s). Etc. EAP especially is cool, as it often blends in perfectly with the blue sky and mirrors Bankers Hall back to you... Hate twins? How about triplets?

And of course, the mountains roll out to the SW. On a clear day like today, often see people rubbernecking at them. I usually would be sent to high-rage mode, but can forgive that trafisgression.

If someone can figure out how to do up a big mixed use highrise TOD at Fire Park,
The SW views would definitely be worth a million.

I also really like Crescent Heights and the vistas from Shag Golf course are great too.

Ramsey as well. It's where the skyline shot was taken to be used on our business card and YYC skyline T-shirt /shameless self promotion

It may not be a neighbourhood, but my favourite skyline view is from SAIT.

Easy winner is Rotary Park in Crescent Heights (also a block from me so I'm biased). Love the city view along with the river valley and Rockies in the distance.

Awesome! Have me take a look at one skyline shot from each neighbourhood you all suggested, shall we?

Seconded. The view from the top of the ACAD-adjacent parking garage is just glorious.

I forget the exact areas I took these photos (this was before I joined SSP by about 6 months), but you guys could probably figure out where I took them from back then:

This one, I knew was somewhere just off Deerfoot.

Chinook overpass?

Sarcee!

And a shot that reminds me of the Assiniboine Park bridge in Winnipeg:

Parkhill from 33 Ave in April 2009, so pre Bow + EAP.

SAIT, because downtown looks absolutely HUGE in terms of height.

Sarcee Trail SW, right before Signal Hill, because you see the Beltline and the sheer mass of downtown.

Either view makes our skyline look like that of a city 5x its size.

Briar Hill, 33rd Ave SW, and Tom Campbell Hill are my favorites. Another great spot is in Bankview near the old Children's hospital or that park nearby (23rd ave sw and 17a st)

Crescent hill is probably the truly best spot, but it's been done so many times I tend to overlook it.

I LOVE the view from SAIT, really hard to rank these different vantage points. As each one brings out different parts of the CBD and Beltline. We're lucky to have so many excellent places to view from.
