this is one weird looking building, but like the dude said - it's days inn. i'm just happy they located there and didn't take 13 years to build like the local guys.

The siding makes it look really fugly. I'd prefer stucco over that atrocity.

Ugly as hell, but at least it's a new business downtown. Look at all that pavement!

Not only is it lacking in redeeming architectural features, I think it's in a horrible location. Removed from downtown and on the side of a highway, ahhh sorry Main Street.

I'm holding out hope that additional exterior dressing is yet to come. Even awnings would improve the look of the streetwall. The coach lanterns look really out of place. Still, it is much-needed hotel space in the downtown, and a significant improvement over its previous life as a car lot. I give it a hearty welcome on this account alone.

I personally hate it, it looks like it belongs on Centennial Parkway or somewhere like that. I really wish this city would implement some architectural design standards. That stretch of Main Street is an eyesore, what with a Petro Canada, parking lots, and the backs of buildings to look at. One of our main thoroughfares through downtown should be a showcase of buildings.
Harry, I really hope you get your tower built.

Heck, even anything going up on Wilson Street Ancaster these days is built with some thought to it, to blend in with the street.
