Signature of Cityplace? You're suggesting it may be a supertall? That's not really something I'd expect from Concord but it would be nice I suppose.

well.

They know how tall Aura is 264, they know how tall One Bloor is 240, They know how tallTrump is 282. They are going into sales... in April, go for it all. The market is hot, they can sell the thing out in one day, with all their Chinese connections.

ITS ON.

I think we could see the announcement of a supertall in Toronto soon. There are so many 200m+ buildings being built, or proposed right now its ridiculous.

Trump International Tower (282m)
Aura (264m)
45 Bay Street (240m?)
Number One Bloor (237m)
ICE Condos East (234m)
Shanri-La (215m)
Ritz-Carlton (210m)
L Tower (205m)
Four Seasons (204m)
ICE Condos West (202m)

That's ten 200m+ buildings under-construction or soon will be in Toronto. There are currently 11 200m+ buildings in Canada. We are essentially doubling our 200m buildings in a few years.

All it takes is one smart business man who knows how perfect the TO market is to building a 330m condo and become the most desirably condo in the city.

I'm expecting Signature Tower to come in around 200-230 metres.

If it's indeed being launched in April, I'm sure the planning application and plans will come to the surface long before then.

I was expecting 240M to 250M for Signature. Thats what was originally proposed years ago. Now that the plans have been (possibly) finalized for Trump, Aura and 1 Bloor, Concorde can do what they desire... A new tallest, or something in the same height range but mindblowing. My prediction is a 265M roof height and a small spire for a total of 285M. Still short of supertall status but beating Trump for roof and spire height.

The original proposal for Signature, which was little more than a rumour because it was so far off all those years ago, was a dildo-looking cylindrical tower of about 700 ft.

Now we can dream big. At least until they release an updated design.

Yes, it's exactly the same feeling I have when I have purchased my lottery ticket, but before the draw has taken place... The magic window of time when it is still all possible.

You know with all the shit going on in the city and in Mississauga, these guys are going Hardcore.

There will be a game of one upmanship with this Tower, have no doubt. We will see something ground breaking, if not for height than at least a stunning design.

Supertall, maybe not. 230 meters to 280 meters possible, with a spire to reach over 300 meters/1000 feet.

Why oh why is Signature even being debating in a supertall thread. Take a good look at the Concord buildings. The finishes are CHEAP with the key in this case being the ridiculously low ceiling heights. It would take 110 floors which is more than double the 50 storeys they have been unwilling to surpass with other phases.

I wouldn't wager a penny on more than 70 floors and a maximum of 230 metres. Of course, I can't say I've ever dreamt of a building either.

Why can't we just admit there isn't anything that has been release that has any potential to top 306 metres.

Interesting design, but hasn't this one been around for a while, I'm sure that I've seen this building in an article a while ago.

Has the City set aside that piece of land for some landmark skyscraper..?

I mean is that the plan, to have a design competition and actually have a supertall built at that location...?

That would be nice.

Hm, I'm usually no proponent of radical artistic statements in architecture, but I like that Portlands supertall design.

Unless I am skipping a part of the description on the website, does it say how tall it is exactly? I know by the drawing you can tell it's a supertall, but how tall is it?
