Caydon Property Group out of Australia has big plans for Midtown, here's our first look at Phase II! The towers, designed by Gensler, will rise to 631' ft and 544' ft, which will make them the tallest buildings in Midtown. Phase I, 2850 Fannin St, is currently under construction.

Houston Midtown, Caydon Property Group’s first foray into the US market, is an ambitious mixed-use project under development in Houston, Texas. Comprising of three towers intersected by laneways, the development incorporates of a mixture of retail, amenities, office space, residential and public space.

LARGE ARTS has been working with Caydon and US architects Gensler and Zeigler Cooper on this ongoing project, with the main focus thus far to pitch to anchor tenants and communicate the vision of the project to local planning authorities.

Marketing collateral is currently under production, with the project to be launched to prospective tenants in mid-2018.

For the entire city indeed. Perhaps others will take note.

The firm/website that has raised the legal concern in based in Melbourne. It has zero do to do with Houston.

That said, in this day and age, best of luck to them making sure that said images don't end up being posted elsewhere. It's not like they posted them online on a website that anyone could see. Because no one will ever save or screenshot said images...

Planned development for 3621 W Alabama

Quote:
Longtime Upper Kirby resident Chateau Domingue has packed up the floor tiles, doorknobs, and candlesticks at its former W. Alabama St. showroom just west of Edloe St. and left for a new location in Timbergrove. An entity connected to energy businessman Douglas Foshee bought the building that housed the antique furniture and building materials store at the end of 2016. Fencing went up around the site last week, and on Friday, a permit was filed to disconnect the structure from the city’s sewer system — typically a sign that a demolition is imminent.
