Assuming that Chronicle image is a somewhat reliable source (and its been questioned lately with the whole Transbay issue), the reason they seem to have slowed down for a bit, could be because they were installing earthquake retrofiting beams and such near the 1/3 point of the tower (where the first yellow box has been outlined). After getting through here (if they havent already done so) they should resume thier pace until they near the top (or the second yellow box). I would assume they will top off around June, possibly July. They should finish all the other mechanisims, glass, wires and pipes, by around September perhaps, with the first people moving in around October-November.

I figured this is a pretty accurate measurement of the progress so far in the entire project.

Seems like with everything being built to twice the code and the building being on bedrock, it would be the safest highrise in which to live in SF.

Nice work ... although it seems odd that the building rises higher than the crane does.

^^^Wait until there's 5 or 6 more 40-story towers on Rincon Hill (including 1 Rincon Tower #2).

The view of One Rincon from I-80 as you approach the Bay Bridge from the SF side is certainly going to be impressive - probably the best angle from which to view the building IMO. And as BT said, with 45 Lansing, 340 Fremont, the Californian, and One Rincon II all within a one-block radius and slated to begin construction this year, this view will be spectacular soon.

Judging by the most recent series of photos, One Rincon has added 4 floors in the past 16 (calendar) days, which indicates they've worked through the special cross-bracing floors and have resumed their desired floor-per-3-days cycle. At that rate, the building should be topped off by late May, as was originally scheduled.

We're at the point now where every floor added makes One Rincon look much more significant from many vantage points in the City!

Is 45 Lansing the current site of the 76 station?

No, 45 Lansing will not be at the 76 Station on the corner. Its going to be at the building next door to the station that spans from Harrison over to the side street. I think there is still the Planning notification sign on the side street side of the building.
