A few new ones released by Memorial University's archives, almost all from 1904.
Cavendish Square.
Waterfront.
Queen's Road at Prescott Street.

Riverhead. This area is completely different today. The river is walled or filled in with silt/marshland. It's basically just a stream.
The "Chinese Laundry" (sorry if that's offensive, that's what it was called) area at the entrance to the Central Slum.
The ruins of the Benevolent Irish Society/St. Patrick's Hall following the fire of 1892.
Same building today:

The view from the Battery.
Anti-Catholic rally. (Kidding lol - Royal visit)
Something I didn't even know existed. The Fort William Railway Station in the east end of St. John's, just behind the Newfoundland Hotel. The rails even went out to the Battery.
Duckworth Street.
Water Street.
Military Road at Rawlin's Cross.
Same view today - complete the statue affectionately known locally as the texting girl. People even dispose of old phones in her hands.
Out of curiousity, do any other cities only paint lines on the road within a few metres of intersections?
