An anonymous Jamaica-based LLC has filed applications for a four-story, 62-key hotel at 3300 Webster Avenue, located in the Norwood section of the West Bronx. The building would encompass 50,656 square feet and rise 55 feet to its rooftop.
The hotel rooms would be located across the ground through fourth floors and should average 457 square feet apiece. The cellar would host the hotel lobby, as well as the hotel’s amenities, including a fitness center and breakfast area. A 24-car parking garage would be located below the the hotel lobby.
Flushing-based Raymond Chan Architect is the architect of record. The 14,232-square-foot plot is vacant.

Project: 173 Tompkins Avenue

Brooklyn-based Rockpoint Management has filed applications for a five-story, 10-unit residential project at 173 Tompkins Avenue, located between Hart and Pulaski streets in northern Bedford-Stuyvesant. The new building would measure 9,468 square feet and rise 66 feet to its rooftop.
The residential units would spread across the ground through fifth floors, plus part of the cellar and an upper mezzanine level above the fifth floor. The apartments should average 698 square feet apiece, indicative of rentals.
Brooklyn-based JFrankl Associates is the architect of record. The 2,400-square-foot lot is occupied by a two-story townhouse. Demolition permits were filed in March, and the structure recently passed its pre-demolition inspection.
