They're starting to actually advertise! Almost like people are going to want to start living here. What a novel concept!

Well not completely true, I recall the Connolly having nice hoarding, bad omen for them, hope fully not here. Anyone remember the Royale, from a while ago, much fanfare and presence (at Main and Bay , now home to BMO) - a condo project that was before it's time.

Coletara Developments from Guelph/Milton. This is their biggest project yet.

They're opening a sales centre at the old Burger King/Skyline billiards location on Main Street west, just west of McMaster

That's quite the distance from the actual development...

They must own that land too, great potential spot for another residential building.

Yes, or just north of it anyway. Makes sense, they can use the same sales centre for both of their Hamilton projects.

Here's the link to the Onyx thread.

My first thought at seeing the model as well.

I like it, and its scale is fine for that site (especially considering what is proposed kitty-corner) but it would look even better stretched out across 30+ storeys.

I like the model because it has an LRT car going by it on King Street.

holy. that is fat. I like the square footprints. It's needed in that part of town. but better proportion if 35 floors.

I think seeing new developments like this go ahead is great for the city, and it's going to keep interest in wanting to live in the city proper vs in the burbs...
