Vivaciously delicious street scenes......I have never seen Rio look so seductive. The U.S. has The Grand Cannon but that's the grandiose cannon. Brazil has always been on my radar so the next time you go call me, my bags are packed I just need a good tour guide....OBRIGADO....

That was entertaining. Who doesn't love seeing Brazil? I'm sure I'll be returning to this thread several more times. This shot looked unreal:

Thanks for the wonderful tour.

awesome thread.

Have you already visited Santa Catarina? I would highly recommend a trip up (and down again) the SERRA DO RIO DO RASTRO.

also, a visit to Minas Gerais historic towns (Ouro Preto, Diamantina, etc) is recommended by everyone who visits those towns (I never did however).

I am under the impression you had not much time to explore Porto Alegre beyond downtown and immediate surroundings (Parque da Redenção is very near downtown).

Well, if you did, I hope you can post more stuff later.

I have this small old thread of Porto Alegre downtown, if you want to check out

Thanks! I only spent a day in Porto Alegre. I spent most of my time in Gramado and Canela. The next places on my next are probably Salvador and Brasília (because my fiancée has friends there).

Incredible country and photos! I would like to visit Rio, Sao Paulo, Curitiba (as they are not so far from each other), Brasilia, Salvador and Iguasu Falls.
