Most of those before pics are taken in non summer months with barren trees, so it's not exactly a fair comparison.

I think the Old Port looks fine as is. It's good to be a bit rough around the edges because well.... it's a port.

I can't tell in the pictures - are they planning on altering or getting rid of the linear rail park? I hope not. It's brilliant.

I don't think they will ever be able to get rid of the train track; it serves the port, so it's a droit acquis for the CN. I agree that they choose very bad and unflattering pics for the before&after; but still, the Old Port is seriously in need of a little love. And I like that their plan includes a direct access to the water with those big stairs. I'm hoping they do this right. It's still just a proposal. They don't even have the financing yet from the Federal.

If this has been posted before I apologies. This is 2 Tecumseth. Looks like a mixed use development on the fringe of Liberty Village. I assume this is a preliminary design of the site but it's very Dutch looking and I like it.

All I'm seeing is a 21st-century version of the Crossways.

WS called this a Vision, but it was entered into the database by Dylan as a proposal. I'm not sure what the actual status is supposed to be...

I don't read into it at all. About 80% of the listings turn into real projects so not bad record there. It's just another part of real estate development I find fascinating.

I'll by into the 80% turn into something but, that includes a wide range of somethings. It's not just redevelopments into new tallest. Dream is a nightmare for shareholders. Who the hell is going to buy more shares so that they can afford to redevelop these properties?

You're the man Koops, thanks for all the hours you put into these.

It's a daunting task, it seems these days the proposals come out faster than you can draw em!

Thanks... speaking of 1133 Melville, I've seen 2 different heights, on the thread and on the diagram. Which is the right number?

I'm actually catching up on the Toronto diagram. I'm working on towers in the 80 metre range these days. And I've got the Toronto diagram to almost 1000 drawings now...

Wow, that's impressive.

The taller of the Melville numbers is correct, the shorter height was the old design.

I guess it's better than its predecessors. Looks like a solid 65, the tallest in Griffintown.
