Great shots BVic! In your first photo, just below the McHugh banner and climbing form, you can see the frustum taking shape as the building begins to angle inward.

To an untrained eye of someone who doesn't know whats going on with this project this thing has to just look like a sea of confusion. All the different slants, angles and setbacks. I could see it not making any sense until they start laying on the glass

I don't think any of the renderings thus far truly depicts how thin each of the sections will be.

You can definitely see it start to angle inward above the shared wall with GEMS.

The angle extends all the way down to the the deck. The effect is quite dramatic in person. Based on the renderings, they are at or near where the western most portion should start angling outward.

I think we keep forgetting that Vista wil be blue glass instead of the green we're use to seeing in pics!
Is this design change a big deal or not?

^^^ It's already 20 some floors from grade and still barely looks like a stump. This will look large from the two angles Bvic took shots from. Can't wait to see it from Navy Pier and Wolf Point.

Great shots Bvictor1! Looks like the east crane jumped. That side should start going up now after a good pause.

There was some discussion about whether this would be a make it or break it glass situation.....see what I did there?

I am personally in the blue glass camp. I feel it'll compliment the skyline along with elements of the lake quite nicely. Perhaps even give the building a slimmer look.

I think you mean fast approaching the 20th floor (at least from upper Wacker). The last number in the skip door is 9.

I was counting those below upper Wacker, the core is a couple floors above the 18 or 19 floors above upper Wacker already, putting it around 24-25 floors above the earth, which I feel like is how we should be counting since that is the base of the building
