From the Stadium thread on the Canada forum, the new Winnipeg Stadium (Investors Group Field), which will be the new home of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers football team of the CFL and the University of Manitoba Bisons of the CIS. It will also be one of the hosts of the 2015 Women's World Cup. Its capacity will be approx. 35,000 (expandable up to 40,000):

The old Winnipeg stadium looks like the old University of Washington Stadium, which is also being renovated.

New chairs to be installed at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton. Originally built for the 1978 Commonwealth Games. Home of the CFL team, the Edmonton Eskimos. Lower bowl is mostly complete, upper sections to be complete this summer.

Anyway, UPDATE about all brazilian stadiums being built for the FIFA Confederations Cup (this june) and FIFA World Cup 2014. (for those who do not know, the Confeds Cup is a FIFA tournament with the champions of each confederation (CONMEBOL, UEFA, CAF, CONCACAF, AFC and OFC along with the tournament hosts and the previous World Cup champions).

Therefore, Confederations Cup stadiums are World Cup stadiums being tested one year before the major event.

The inaugural event for Investors Group Field; looks like an open house for the public. It will be the home stadium of 2 Canadian football teams: the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the University of Manitoba Bisons of Canadian Inter-university Sport (CIS).
