See the dark line between floors on the right. That is ground level from what a contractor told me today.

And from what I noticed today. All the forms and rebar are in place now. The formwork on the eastern 1/2 of the core on this level look like they might have been poured already due to the fact the forms are closed on that side. If they did pour then we are not far from the next level of rebar cages being placed above.

You all will start to sound like a broken record very soon. After a certain point, this type of construction will become very repetitive.

Who woulda thought that building a skyscraper would be a long, repetitive process?

The 4th crane. The core crane should be on for 8pm tonight if all is still on track.

Started erecting towercrane 4 thursday night. This will be a 3 week process as it is a fairly complicated setup. Same type of crane as 1 and 3 (tg1900) but is referred to as an internal climber. You will start to see it come out of the core in a couple days. Finish date is the 18th.

Also note towercrane 3 will be taken down at some point and reassembled about 50 feet north of its current position, closer to Wilshire, and top out at about the 50th floor or so.

Thanks for the info, must be a tight fit being inside the core.

I thought #3 was already pretty close to Wilshire, but maybe I have the number order wrong. Which one is #3?

Thank you for all you're info regarding the cranes. "It is greatly appreciated" Do you know when the next steel columns will be installed on the perimeter. It seems like they are ready to start the p3 level and that is near the top of the existing columns.
