I'd agree on tearing down Boston's City Hall. What an inhuman travesty. Take a lot of the rest of the government center with it - especially Paul Rudolph's Lindemann Center, which is one of the worst buildings ever created.

In fact, as a corollary, I'd be fine with demolishing everything Rudolph ever did.

Mercer West Tower in Houston's Uptown. I can't stand this building!

the ugliest part of Hannover/Germany is for sure the Ihme Zentrum, 70´s brutalist architecture at its best:

I guess that would be Kaden Tower. And I agree with you:

I drove by the Mercer building on a recent visit. I sort of like the front view (the wider view) but the side view is horrendous. It's a shame buildings like this ever get built.

^ugh, eyesores. They use decorative elements and their form slightly exceeds function! How dare they! Look at Chrysler's entirely useless, whimsical top! Oh the humanity!

I personally hate the Essex Inn on S Michigan Ave. Although it has a kickass indoor pool with amazing city views, the building is so 70's and such an eyesore. They need to tear it down and building something tall and beautiful in its place. It looks so much worse being directly next to the historical Hilton Chicago.

Sorry I would post a pic but I cant for the life of me figure out how to?

i noticed a big pile of dirt on the empty spot between the mercer tower and CVS, looks like tower #2 maybe in the works. so instead of one 400' stained urinal in the middle of the skyline, there will be TWO!

The Vale, in Tempe Arizona. Yes, these are lime green condos and no it's not a primer coat before a tasteful color gets applied.
