Dude, excellent pics of my hometown!

That one shot of Beltzhoover with all those row-houses on that one side street intersecting with Beltzhoover Ave., that was Lillian Street I believe, and my face pretty much lit up when I saw you got a shot of that. My grandmother lived there before moving to Overbrook!

A high speed rail corridor linking Pittsburgh with Chicago would be great. I've heard of talk about such a corridor to link Pittsburgh with Harrisburg tho and another one linking Cleveland and the Burgh.

I'm impressed you're actually exploring the whole region. There is a lot to see out there. I'd highly recommend looking at Falling Water if ever you get the opportunity. It was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for Edgar Kaufmann and is considered an architectural and engineering marvel.

These are the last until later this month when I go back up to Pittsburgh for a summer class. As of right now I have $500 saved up on Amazon (thanks to surveys) towards the oncoming Panasonic GF2.

I also love the aerials. Very cool.

I just showed a couple houses on this street about a month ago. That is called Tiffany Ridge in Moon Twp. overlooking Coraopolis and the Ohio river.

Hey, sweet pics yet again, especially those areals from the Southwest 737.

That airport you flew over shortly after takeoff near PHL? I believe that was the Chester County Airport near Coatesville. I reckognized the Coatesville-Downingtown bypass and Business US-30 behind it.

Have you gone to any of the north hills yet? Ross Twp., Cranberry? Those are rappidly growing parts of the Greater Pittsburgh region. There is an upscale mall at Ross (Ross Park Mall).

Not yet. I get free rides on PAT with my id, so I go where PAT goes (except New Castle). But in the fall I plan on going to places like Braddock and guess I should head out to Cranberry and Ross townships.

I have one other suggestion. How about checking out one of the Giant Eagle Market Districts if you have not already done so. I was in Pittsburgh this past weekend for a bridal shower and bachelor party that my family threw for my fiancee and yours truely respectively. Breakfast was extra at the Courtyard Marriott Pittsburgh Airport, so I suggested we (my fiancee and future in-laws who all are life-long residents of Greater Philly) go to the new Market District in Robinson, which was about a 5 minute drive from the hotel. Long story short, they were very impressed with it, even more so that Wegmans. Not to mention, the Robinson location is HUUUGE -- bigger than any of Wegmans' many midatlantic/northeastern locations!

I guess if you can't get out to Robinson, there are locations in Bethel Park and Shadyside/East Liberty...

Nice shots of PNC Park. Such a nice ballpark that has to double as a garbage dump every year from April to early October...

Carnegie is a neat, dense little suburb but the color of those lamposts and bollards make me want to vomit.

Took a trip out to Braddock, here is what I saw. Many of these photos were taken on the main street through town, Braddock Ave:

The city welcomes you:

Braddock has plenty of open space so people have decided to use it to their advantage:

Braddock is easily accessibl by many Port Authority bus routes, including the 61A which goes to Oakland and downtown Pittsburgh, and is located a short distance from the Swissvale East Busway terminus which offers the quickest ride to downtown Pittsburgh:

Kennywood Amusement Park is easily viewable from all over the city:

And of course there are the industries:
