Great picture.

It's a shame that the Infinity clone got the green light though. Where was city planning on that?

I kinda like the clone in this location. They seem to bring some connection between street level and the ICE towers. They're not stunning, wonderful looking buildings, but are ok to look at.

ICE condos look significantly better than the renderings.

They're down about 30 feet in the northwest of the Brookfield Place excavation now. I wonder how long excavation will take for a 22 meter hole that size?

Aura from the office on a chilly Friday morning

You can see the core still extending up quite substantially. Still more height to come!

Yes, I'm rather beginning to like Aura, especially from the head-on view!

Yeah it's not too shabby, makes being here for 12 hours a day a little better

It will also have a great view of Bay Adelaide 2 construction when it starts to get taller. You can see one of the two cranes here through Trump and Scotia.

That view will be pretty much closed in eh? I love the feeling of being encased in massive buildings!

Edit: I don't get that here in Fredericton hahaha.

They're down a good 30 - 40 feet in the northern 1/3 of the Brookfield Place site. In the southern side of the site, the foundations of the former buildings have been pounded into oblivion (sounds like a fun time ).

Thanks! No offence to the Toronto folks but Trump looks like a POS. i think the Vancouver version will be far superior - architecturally anyway.

Trump looks like they had a number of different ideas for its design, but couldn't decide on one so went with a combination of all of them. Other than the 1/4 onion & pencil on top, I don't hate Trump, but am glad that it's location means it is not prominent in the skyline.

I'm with Uzi Automatic on this one.

The Toronto one is waaaay taller!!

The Vancouver one would disappear into the concrete jungle of the Financial District if it were in Toronto, like that fancy tower we have under construction here which is just as interesting as Trump Vancouver, but no one even posts any updates on. I'm not even sure what it's called, but it's about 188 meters too.

The design does not suck. It's just us being picky. In reality, most average day people I talk to like the design. It's not a bad looking building and fits into the environment pretty perfectly. In any other city it wouldn't look good but for Toronto it works. Trump is no winner architecturally, but it still looks alright and the average everyday person doesn't think like we do. Just saying.
