A lot of illustrators created fantasy buildings. But I´m unsure whether a discussion thread is necessary for that. But it´s so that the whole complex, which contains also a shopping center with 200 shops has a professional design. I designed this building with my uncle. He has an own architectfirm in South-West Germany. If I had enough money, I could built this complex. Originally I planned a computergame with a large city like New York, and this towers were the tallest of that city. Now I worked with my uncle together to create a professional building design.

^Yes, but you neither own the land or have been contracted to design said fantasy project (which would make it real). Architects and armchair architects all over do sketches and renderings of fantasy projects all the time, but if they haven't been paid to do so, they are just that...fantasy.

This particular section of the forum is for REAL projects that were either never built or studies done at the behest of some developer/government entity as a vision. But the people who do these projects don't do so for free.

...and that's the difference...

*I honestly don't know if we have a section for armchair fantasy projects. Maybe in the urban art section? Sketchup? Not sure...*

No, fantasy is the correct designation for this project. A vision is a project designed by a professional with no financial backing/serious plans for getting built.

That brings up an interesting point, even that Eye-In-The-Sky monstrosity was created by an architect, as was the new Twin Towers, and that mountain. Depending on who came up with it then it's Urban Art for this one.

I don´t know how to consider about this. I have not enough financial backing for building this. But in fact, the buildings have a professional design, planned by myself and my uncle, who is an architect.

But the 'plans' you've shown us so far are somebody else's proposal with a needle added in MSPaint.

This should only give a view like it can be look like. There are plans, but concrete renderings. But we built a models with wood. And in fact, the pictures uploaded by my friend in Wikipedia have a poor quality.

And if you estimate the number of windows, either every other floor is windowless, or every floor is 10 meters tall.

I am currently working on a website for the proposal. Letrs see. Every floor is about 3.3m tall. I dont know the number of windows, I guess it´s about 100.000 per tower.

Name me a single professional thing about your "design" (or, should I add, "your" "design")

Can you name one aspect of this design that has been executed in a professional way?

The plans were made by uncle. He is an architect. The whole design is professional. Why shouln´t it? My uncle made the plans, I told him how tall the building is, how many floors and so on. He created a design on his computer with a program, that many architects are using. Such a program cots about 20.000 € (this is more than 20.000US-D).
