Denver really is one of those cities that comes to mind and you just think only positive things. Overall, it's just such a nice, clean, organized, and all around pleasant city. Thanks for the kind words about my favorite city. I'm not sure I'd agree with the assessment that it isn't growing quickly though... just take a look at
this post from the Denverinfill blog. And this table from the same post...
As Ken writes in his blog, that's "7,500 new housing units in a 3.5-year timeframe." And this is just downtown. I'm not sure how this compares to the other cities like Austin (Wikipedia's MSA table shows a 6% growth rate from 2010-2013 as compared to 9.7% for Austin in the same period). No other MSA on that list comes even close to a 9% growth rate, so I'd say Austin may be an exception. 6% in that time frame seems like a pretty robust growth rate to me!
