Great to see this one finally rising & twisting after all the false starts/cancellations/changes, etc.

Granted this is a pretty poor photo so you may find it looks better in person, but it looks pretty green and not overly reflective. The spandrel, though, doesn't seem to be seafoam; it's closer in colour to the main glass, so there's that.

My photos - taken today.

The amount of Office Tower construction in Calgary is just amazing. Really for a city of that size it's building almost as much as Toronto and for sure more than Montreal. It's just crazy...

Actually, now that Brookfield Place is under construction, I can't even say for sure that Toronto has more space u/c than Calgary. kudos!

Tower 1 is 1.4 million sq. ft... so you might be right. However, with EAP coming off the list soon, we'll be losing a significant amount of UC space, but we'll be having another 2 or 3 starting in the next 12 months, maybe more than that. Manulife, FCC II, Keynote 4, Eau Claire Market I, and Telus sky all have the potential to begin construction by December 31, 2014. Telus will be earlier than that, but it's mixed use so not really an "office tower".

Toronto still has more office space under construction and the number is ron the rise with recent additions like the 500000 square foot Globe & Mail building.

Some more flashy office towers like this would be nice. Instead we get stuck with more boxwork like BACE, RBC and Bremner Tower.

The G&M 's articulation is more complex but, I wouldn't call it flashy. It is a better example of dressed up boxes although I still find the massing overbearing. Southcore are exceptionally good "boxes". We'll see with Bay Adelaide if it is an improvement on BA1.

I think the Southcore PWC tower is underrated. The design and finishes (especially around the lobby) are pure quality

The GlobeandMail proposal, on the other hand, needs some serious revisions.

^ Finally that second tower at Hullmark is taller than the first one. I need to drive by this area again, I feel like they have added like 20 floors since the last time I was there.
