I have to agree. The initial design was promising but I have yet to see this building in person when it did not just disappear into the reflections of the buildings around it.
Very 1980's Dallas. At least it is a wee building. I wonder if birds will find it as un-seeable as I do.

It will be more noticeable when they smack a couple giant red CNA's on the side of the roof. I'm still curious how the lobby turns out. Pictures anyone?

As boring as this building is, it would have looked pretty cool if the glass was a gradient. I'm not talking about changing color from one floor to the next, a la Vista, more of a clear glass with a gradation film applied after it's been installed to look like the hue shifts from, say, blue to yellow as it approaches the street. I've never seen a technique done like this anywhere or if it's even possible, I'm sure with enough money it would be.

^ Something like that would really liven up this tower. Pretty sure I'm not alone when I say this is probably one of the least memorable office buildings to go up in the city in recent memory. Although I do admit its an improvement over the two story Walgreens that used to be there.

A possibly cheaper and more feasible alternative to a pure transitional gradient is to install windows on each floor with a slight change color from the floors above and below it, until its all blue or all yellow on either end. It would give it a more blocky or pixelated look, which might end up looking even cooler.

Lobby looks pretty plain so far by JBC standards. Probably too early to tell. Would think they would want the lobby to really stand out considering the rest of the building is so sterile.

The Boing building - across the street, and across the river.
