Will this be televised for those in Canada? IIRC, Versus isn't available on many Canadian carriers, or at least, it's not in my guide, and I couldn't find much online, since they're OLN in Canada, and I don't believe are showing the race.

Why can't we just call it the Edmonton Indy? I find it kinda stupid to have Rexall in the name ... oh well ... I'm sure Rexall pays a lot for that. Lets just hope American's don't think we're in Rexall Edmonton, Alberta .

^ They sponsor the event and get to put their name on it. It's pretty standard practice.

Rexall is a big name in all of North America. No one is going to make that mistake.

I was away for the weekend so I didn't see, but I'm having trouble finding anything in that regard on Google.

Really hope it is, seems kind of stupid not to televise it in where Canadians can see it.

Stranger places have been transformed into cool concert venues.

I understand what newfangled is saying. On the surface, a parking lot seems, well, blah.

Don't you remember the "Toronto Molson Indy" and the "Vancouver Molson Indy"? We didn't find it odd to use the sponsor's name as part of the event name there. (I believe the Toronto Indy is now the "Honda Toronto Indy") Same thing here, different sponsor.

Do we know anything about ticket sales for the event so far this year? Last year, the late schedule release was blamed for poor ticket sales. Will this year be better?

i think so... not to mention that the whole CHAMP to IRL made things challenging.

One thing i hope to see/wish we saw more of is Honda doing more in the city for the event. Dealerships should be promoting the hell out of it and Honda should have a huge tent downtown for VIPs etc.
