Hmm, interesting point, I wonder what the pet policy is in all these new condos on the strip? Are you allowed to have a large dog? Anyway, there was a recent county planning agenda sheet that explained the water features and how the ground level will be an inviting city park type of setting. Although, in the renderings it just looks like palm tree lined sidewalks to me. That whole section in the middle with the jagged roof is a giant mall.

How many hi-rise apartments allow large pets...if anything more than a goldfish - one of the reasons is this, being able to walk them (code of letting them go potty) when there is no place for them to go.

It will be interesting to see more details.

don't worry about the parks and green space right now. you don't know what the developer may still have up his sleeve. I agree there should be green space in here, but even if there isn't, this rampant residential development without parks is going to come back and cry for help soon, it will happen either way.

i know its hard to compare portland to las vegas; but in portland developers use the green space as an attraction to suburban dwellers who would otherwise stay in the suburbs. also the abundant amount of parks in portland give condo owners the flexbility to allow pets as there is a place for them to do their...business.
i guess im just spoiled by all the green space in portland
also that mall needs some skylights for some natural light

I also realized there is not a lot of days of the year where construction would be stopped during weather (and it would be preferable to work at night as well!)

great photos mdiederi !! this project is amazing it its scale. Vegas is definatly this country's version of Dubai in terms of raw growth.

on a side note. my sympathies go out to the families of those 2 workers who were killed and those two workers seriously injured. this happened earlier today at the site.

Oh no, I didn't hear that news. That's terrible. Construction is still a very hazardous line of work.

Cool CityCenter Flash Brochures

Hey everyone,

If you're looking for some nicely designed brochures on CC and Vdara go here to view or download. The Vdara one is pretty expansive! Really all you need to know about about that particular condo-tel can be found here:

Cheers!

Damn, i still cant get how massive this thing is, even though ive walked past it and driven past it. HUGE! cant wait to see all the towers underconstuction. its weird, but i almost like the construction phase more so than actually visiting the finished products. good updates!
