GoldenDusk, your photo updates are always great, and appreciated. Miami Central looks great!

Any lowrise or midrise developments in the city or in other areas of South Florida? I remember there being a South Florida thread. Regardless, it would be nice to see how core areas outside of Downtown, Brickell, and Sunny Isles are doing unless all the action is contained in those places.

Thanks for the memories since I used to ride Metrorail on a daily basis.
The new chimes sound softer.

You are quite welcome. I used to ride on metrorail for over decades ago and I went to work. I remember when I was young. I miss South Florida. So now, we lived in Arizona for 14 years. We moved to Arizona in 2003.

688-Unit Apartment Complex Proposed On Miami River

Quote:
Mast Capital has submitted a proposal for a 688-unit apartment complex on the Miami River.

The eight-story project would be built in two phases on what is currently a vacant lot.

In addition to apartments, it would also include 780 parking spaces (a 30% reduction from requirements due to transit proximity), and 2,795 square feet of retail.

Mast is in contract to purchase the 6.31 acre lot, which is within walking distance of Marlins Stadium.

Miami’s UDRB is scheduled to review the plans January 17. Corwil Architects is the architect.

1980? Nope.

There are multiple buildings in that photo that were constructed post-1980... including Bayside which didn't even open until the late 80s. And you can see the renovations happening in Bayfront Park... also post 1980.
