Fantastic photos, thank you!

I cannot believe how fast projects happen in Vegas. I guess between the fact time is money, the city is accommodating of these projects, and they usually work on 'easy' sites (plenty of room for staging, getting materials in and out, etc.), this can happen.

Just wish this was the case in Reno :-( For a few months, things were looking up, but not so now. Seems Vegas is unstoppable!

There is nothing easy about the staging area at PCC. Its one of the most dense projects ever done anywhere. There are six different towers all being built at once on only about 70 acres. But as a general rule, I agree with you, Las Vegas is most cases is much easier than building in a Chicago or NY. However due to the limited amount of land, some of these project are as difficult as ever. Take Palazzo, PCC and Cosmo, all have very little, if any free land to stage.

What's with the six flights of stairs on the Tram? Don't tell me we have to climb that each way. Surly for 7 Billion, they can afford to add a few elevators!

New York New York doesn't have a tram, but I suppose they could use the roller coaster as a people mover.

The first section of facade has been installed. It's on the south face of the west wing. Not sure if the color is true in these photos, it was overcast and might look different on a brighter day.

I'm guessing that tall steel frame will be the back of a showroom.

The facade looks great. The entire resort covered in that tint I think will make it a stand out in Vegas.

It's still astonishing how fast movement on the main resort is moving.

It looks like the facade really may be just transparent to allow the most natural light through. Maybe its a special glass that will absorb sunlight without a tint color.

The final casino is supposed to allow an entire wall of natural light to pour in, a stark contrast to the dark casinos in most current buildings.

Damn that's one huge building, larger than I thought it was going to be. No other major city in America would ever put up a tower of such scale in their center, that's for sure.

I give it credit for adding density, other than that it's just another 600 footer with several other towers either under construction or approved that are taller IMHO. However it is very wide for a 600 foot building which really will add density even though not much for height seeing as how it will be in a sea of buildings taller and some about as wide including the Palazzio, Echelon, and Wynn.

I'm much more excited about the Cosmo and the Encore at Wynn, and now Fontainebleau.
